History:
The parent company REW-Ahmedabad, India (www.screwbarrel.co.in) started in the year 2000 as an OEM for manufacturing feed screws & barrels for Plastics and Rubber processing industry. REW is leading the market as the best choice in India for Plastic & Rubber machine manufacturers.

After years of extensive R&D work, we started developing Customised Bimetallic alloys in 2017 for our customers, considering the durability and cost factor for Indian plastic processing market.

At the same time the Plastics-Recycling market was growing much faster in comparison to other extrusion processes, that is the reason our team started researching the best designs & alloys for feed screw barrel used in Plastics recycling, Reactive extrusion and a special focus on developing indigenous design for PET (polyester) recycling.

REW became the first company to replace the foreign screw barrel OEM in PET recycling market in India.

REW became the first company to make PET recycling screw barrel in India.

The staple fiber manufacturing industry pushed us to multiply our manufacturing infrastructure especially for making large size screw barrels and that is where we decided to make largest size screw barrels in India and today we highly experienced at making big diameter large screw barrels.

The need of adding more machines in our factory pushed us for developing indigenous manual thread milling machines and we made the first Indian thread milling machine at Rajkot, later year we shared the technology to local machine manufactures, stopped working on manual machines.
The demand for fast delivery time lead us to use CNC operated thread milling machines and after several year of practical experience we developed our own customised (SPM) 5 axis capable thread milling machine.

During 2019 we started focusing the needs of Bio Plastics industry and that is what leads us to make our own CNC machine for Bimetallic Solutions.

Our R&D department enables us to design and configure solutions according to specific requirement of our customers, like research purpose small equipment for university or commercial lab, a new Polymer or Elastomer specific designs etc.
